Michael Wuest
Director of Academic Affairs
Michael is a senior at Binghamton University studying History and Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. At Binghamton, Michael is the current Off-Campus College Council Executive Vice President who facilitates services and programming for thousands of off-campus students. Michael previously served as the Chair of the Student Life and Academics Committee, two term Congressional Representative, two term caucus-elected Head Representative, and Director of Community Engagement for the Student Association at Binghamton. These positions yielded amendments to University transportation policy, student representation on administrative committees, and a comprehensive study detailing area of improvement to campus mental health and wellness services. Outside of campus advocacy, Michael is involved in public works. As a member of the Harpur College Public Law Council, Michael is an ambassador for the University to Pre-Law sites across New York. Through the Law Council, Michael is a summer hire at Legal Services NYC doing associate-level work as an undergraduate student. In SUNY SA, Michael aspires to provide direct academic advocacy to SUNY administrators on behalf of the hundreds of thousands enrolled students across all sixty-four campuses; ensuring a world class and quality public education for all SUNY students.
